The COVID-19 vaccination program for the 4th, 5th, and 6th doses for children and civil servants will start on January 9, 2023

Phnom Penh: The Ministry of Health has issued a notification on the vaccination program for the 4th dose of COVID-19 vaccine for children aged 3 to under 5 years, the 5th dose for children aged 5 to under 12 years, and the 6th dose for frontline officials, authorities, and the public on a voluntary basis.

In the special audio message on the night of December 29, 2022, Prime Minister Hun Sen stated that due to the spread of COVID-19 abroad and concerns about it spreading in Cambodia due to not receiving enough doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, he has ordered the 4th dose to be provided to children aged 3 to under 5 years, the 5th dose for children aged 5 to under 12 years, and the 6th dose for frontline officials, authorities, and citizens.

Prime Minister Hun Sen emphasized that, from now on, there must be regular vaccinations every six months.
